A Reason for Decreasing National Debt

    My thoughts have always been that we should decrease national debt, and the video only made me agree more.

    I agree with Kelsey, even though to me national debt doesnt seem like that big of a deal considering the amount of debt we have. This video makes me feel as though we should be concerned with decreasing our long-term national debt.

    I agree with both of them. It doesnt make sense to me why we haven't been trying to decrease the national debt. All this national debt is going to turn into our childrens debt.

    I really like how they put it in terms of the opportunity cost of having high interest payments. However, I worry about cutting back government spending right now while our economy is struggling. Sort of a catch 22 I suppose.
