I can't say that I disagree with anyone who made this list. Unfortunately there are thousands of other corrupt people who were right alongside these "top 10" people supporting their choices at the expense of the American and global public.

ReplyDeleteThis list is very surprising to me. For this entire course we have been talking about some of these names as being wrong headed or owned by the bankers, but never as corrupt. I never thought of Greenspan as corrupt, only wrong. And the most shocking to me is Buffet. I have always associated him more with his philanthropic work than his business sense but (until I just googled him) I had never thought of him as corrupt.
ReplyDeleteThis was very interesting and was surprised by a couple of the names. Especially Greenspan, I never thought that he tried to screw up, he just thought what he was doing was right and would lead to economic prosperity. It worked it the past then why not keep it going. He might have been arrogant and thought he would never be wrong but I do not think that he was corrupt.
ReplyDeleteHmm Ben Bernanke wasn't on the list...but I am also surprised to see Warren Buffet's name there. I always thought he was more revered than seen as a corrupt business person.
